Itinerary

Day 1: Saturday – Istanbul

• Welcome to Istanbul. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free at leisure to relax or start discovering the city on your own.

Day 2: Sunday – Istanbul & Bosphorus Cruise / Flight to Cappadocia

• After breakfast, enjoy a relaxing Bosphorus Cruise by public ferry, sailing along the waterway that divides Europe and Asia. Your guide will share insights about the historical landmarks along the route during this 1-hour experience.
• Later in the afternoon, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Cappadocia. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Cappadocial

Day 3: Monday – Cappadocia (Göreme & Underground City)

• Today, explore the extraordinary landscapes of Cappadocia. Visit the Göreme Open Air Museum, renowned for its rock-cut churches and frescoes, and admire the famous fairy chimneys scattered across the region.
• Continue to one of the remarkable Underground Cities, an ancient multi-level settlement carved deep into the earth.
• The day includes plenty of scenic stops, offering excellent photo opportunities throughout the unique landscape.
• Optional in the evening: Turkish folklore night featuring traditional music and belly dancing. Overnight in Cappadocia

Day 4: Tuesday – Sultanhani Caravanserai & Konya

• Today, we travel along the historic Silk Road with a visit to the Sultanhani Caravanserai, one of the best-preserved Seljuk-era inns that once served ancient traders.
• Continue to Konya, where we will visit the Mevlana Museum, the resting place of Mevlana Jalaluddin Rumi, the renowned 13th-century Sufi mystic and poet. Inside the museum, explore his ornate tomb, historical manuscripts, and exhibits related to the Whirling Dervishes and their spiritual heritage.
• We also visit the Çatalhöyük Museum, which showcases one of the world’s oldest known Neolithic settlements and provides fascinating insight into early human civilization.Overnight in Konya.

Day 5: Wednesday – Pamukkale & Hierapolis

• Today, we head to the natural wonder of Pamukkale, famous for its dazzling white calcium terraces. Explore the ancient city of Hierapolis, including the Temple of Apollo and the Necropolis, and enjoy walking across the stunning thermal pools of the travertines.
• Overnight in Pamukkale

Day 6: Thursday – Laodicea & Kusadasi

• This morning, we visit the ancient city of Laodicea, once a major center of the Lycus River Valley region and historically known as Laodicea ad Lycum (City of Zeus). Explore its impressive ruins and learn about its importance in antiquity.
• Later, continue your journey toward Kusadasi. In the afternoon, enjoy a visit to a local workshop showcasing traditional handmade crafts.
• Overnight in Kusadas
