Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Muscat

• Upon your arrival in Muscat, a delegate from Flying Carpet Tours will greet you holding a sign with your name. You will be transferred to your hotel to relax and unwind after your journey. Prepare for your exciting tour starting tomorrow. Overnight in Muscat.

Day 02: Muscat City Tour

• After breakfast at your hotel, depart in an air-conditioned vehicle for a full-day tour of Muscat City. Visit the magnificent Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, the main mosque of Oman. Explore the Bait Al Zubair Museum, showcasing ancient weapons, khanjar, traditional costumes, and household artifacts. Walk through Old Muscat, admire the 16th-century Jalali and Mirani Forts, see the Al Alam Palace, and stop at Muttrah, Oman’s main port. Return to your hotel in Muscat. Overnight in Muscat.

Day 03: Coastal Adventure – Quriyat, Tiwi, Fins & Ras Al Hadd

• Enjoy breakfast, then drive to Quriyat, a small fishing town 83 km southeast of Muscat. Explore Tiwi and Fins, known for white sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters. Continue to Wadi Shab, a stunning valley with a flowing river, then proceed to Sur and Ras Al Hadd. After dinner, visit Ras Al Jinz, a famous green turtle nesting site. Overnight in Ras Al Hadd.

Day 04: Wadi Bani Khalid & Wahiba Sands

• After breakfast, explore Wadi Bani Khalid, known for its turquoise natural pools and unique rock formations. Continue to the vast Wahiba Sands, stretching nearly 200 km in length and 100 km in width. Enjoy camel riding, 4x4 dune-bashing, and discover the desert’s diverse flora and fauna. Overnight in the desert of Wahiba Sands.

Day 05: Nizwa Forts & Jabrin Castle – Return to Muscat

• After breakfast, drive to Nizwa, Oman’s historic city. Visit the Round Tower Fort, built in the 17th century, and explore Jabrin Castle, built in 1675 by Imam Bil-Arab Bin Sultan, an important center for learning astrology, medicine, and Islamic law. After your cultural tour, return to Muscat and relax. Overnight in Muscat.

Day 06: Departure from Muscat

• After breakfast, a delegate from Flying Carpet Tours will transfer you to Muscat International Airport for your departure, marking the end of your memorable journey.
