Itinerary

Day 01 : Begin your unforgettable tour of Egypt and Jordan

• Once you arrive in Cairo, a representative from Flying Carpet Tours will be waiting for you with a sign displaying your name. You will then be escorted to your hotel to unwind and recover from your journey.
• Take the evening to relax and enjoy the comforts of your hotel before embarking on your exciting tour of Egypt and Jordan the following day. Rest and recharge in Cairo overnight.

Day 02: Pyramids, Grand Egyptian Museum, and Old Cairo

• Start your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel, then your guide from Flying Carpet Tours will take you on a captivating journey as part of your tour of Egypt and Jordan. First, marvel at the iconic Pyramids of Giza, including the Great Pyramid of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus. Enjoy a stunning panoramic view of all three pyramids and capture unforgettable photos. Next, visit the Sphinx and explore the Valley Temple. Afterward, relax with a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.
• Following lunch, your guide will lead you to the Grand Egyptian Museum, home to the remarkable treasures of King Tutankhamun. Your final stop will be in Old Cairo, where you'll visit the Hanging Church, Abu Serga Church, and the Ben Ezra Synagogue.
• Return to your hotel for the evening at leisure, or opt for one of several exciting optional tours: enjoy a Dinner Cruise on the Nile River with a Folklore show and Belly Dancer, or experience the magical Sound & Light Show at the Pyramids. Spend the night in Cairo, resting and recharging for tomorrow's journey.

Day 03: Journey to Aswan and Nile Cruise

• Start your day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel, then your Flying Carpet Tours delegate will escort you to Cairo Airport for your flight to Aswan. Upon arrival in Aswan, you'll be transferred to your Nile Cruise.
• Begin your exploration of Aswan with a visit to the magnificent High Dam, a true marvel of modern engineering. Then, enjoy the breathtaking beauty of Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Next, relax as you sail on a traditional Felucca boat around Elephantine Island, soaking in the serene views of the Nile.
• After this memorable experience, return to your Nile Cruise, where a delicious lunch awaits you on board. Enjoy dinner and spend the night on the cruise, continuing your exciting tour of Egypt and Jordan.

Day 04: Aswan – Kom Ombo Temple

• Optional tour to visit Abu Simbel Temples. We will start early this day by 04:00 Am to drive to Abu Simbel (Approx. 03:30 hrs. driving), arrive and visit the Two Temples; the big one was for the King Ramses II, and the small one is for his wife Nefertari, after that we will back to Aswan, while having lunch on board, the Nile Cruise will start sailing towards Kom Ombo, reach Kom Ombo town, and walk to visit Kom Ombo Temple which was dedicated to Two Gods (Sobek & Haroeris), back to the cruise, and continue sailing to Edfu, dinner on board, and overnight in Edfu, continuing your tour of Egypt and Jordan.

Day 05: Edfu Temple – Karnak Temple – Luxor Temple

• Breakfast on board, we will start the day by visiting Edfu Temple by Horse Carriage, which was dedicated to the god Horus, and then we will back to the Cruise, and start sailing to Luxor, lunch on board during sailing, arrive in Luxor, and visit the magnificent Temples of Karnak & Luxor which is located at the East Bank of the Nile River in Luxor, back to the Cruise, dinner on board and overnight in Luxor.

Day 06: Valley of the Kings’ – Hatshepsut Temple – Colossi of Memnon 

• Breakfast on board, disembark from the Nile Cruise, and start by visiting the Valley of the Kings’ where we will visit 3 of the most reserved royal tombs (not including entry to Tutankhamun, Seti I, and Ramses V & Ramses VI), after that we will visit the funerary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut which was built inside the mountain, later we will visit the Huge Statues of King Amenemhat III which called the Colossi of Memnon.
• Later, your Flying Carpet Tours delegates will escort you to Luxor Airport for your flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to your hotel, where you'll have the evening to relax. Conclude your day with a restful overnight stay in Cairo, where you can relax and recharge for the exciting experiences that await you tomorrow.

Day 07: Journey from Cairo to Amman – Begin Your Jordanian Adventure

• Indulge in a delightful breakfast at your hotel before your Flying Carpet Tours delegate transfers you to Cairo Airport for your flight to Amman, as part of your tour of Egypt and Jordan.
• Upon arrival in Amman, you’ll be transferred to your hotel to unwind and recover from your travels. Enjoy the evening at leisure, and take in the surroundings of this historic city. End your day with a peaceful overnight stay in Amman, allowing you to unwind and prepare for the next leg of your journey.

Day 08: Live the History of Jerash and the Dead Sea

• Breakfast will be served at your hotel, then your Flying Carpet Tours delegate will escort you on a drive in an air-conditioned vehicle to Jerash. Known for its roots in the Roman Empire and nestled in the Gilead Mountains, Jerash is one of the largest and most impressive examples of Roman architecture. You will witness the grandeur of the colonnaded street, the Artemis Temple, and the Nymphaeum, as part of your tour of Egypt and Jordan.
• Next, drive to the famous Dead Sea, a salt lake bordered by Jordan to the east and Israel and the West Bank to the west. Once considered one of the world’s first health resorts, the Dead Sea is known for its mineral-rich waters and healing properties. This is your opportunity to relax, rejuvenate, and enjoy the natural beauty of the area, as the Dead Sea is the saltiest and most mineral-laden body of water in the world.
• At the close of the day, you will be escorted back to your hotel in Amman, where you can relax and enjoy a restful night before the next day's adventures

Day 09: Visit Petra

• Start your day with a flavorful breakfast at your hotel, then your Flying Carpet Tours delegate will transfer you by air-conditioned vehicle to the Rose Red City of Petra, as part of your tour of Egypt and Jordan. Known for its vibrant red, white, pink, and sandstone cliff faces, Petra was "lost" to the Western world for centuries and is considered one of Jordan's most valuable treasures.
• Enter this hidden city through the long and narrow Siq, and discover the incredible carved buildings created by human hands. Take the opportunity to try horseback riding to the entrance of the canyon, and enjoy the option of hiring a camel to explore Petra further.
• After completing your captivating tour, you will journey back to Amman, where you'll enjoy a comfortable overnight stay to relax and reflect on the day's experiences.

Day 10: Final Departure 

• Savor your last breakfast at the hotel, reflecting on the incredible experiences of your tour of Egypt and Jordan. Afterward, your Flying Carpet Tours representative will assist you with your check-out and guide you to Amman International Airport. As you make your way to the airport, take a moment to cherish the memories of your journey through the fascinating cultures, ancient landmarks, and unforgettable landscapes.
