Day 01: Arrive in Cairo

• As soon as your flight touches down in Cairo, a representative from Flying Carpet Tours will be waiting with a warm welcome and a sign bearing your name. Relax as you’re transferred to your hotel, unwind from your journey, and enjoy a peaceful overnight stay in Cairo, preparing for the exciting days ahead.

Day 02: Pyramids & Grand Egyptian Museum

• Start your day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel, then embark on an unforgettable adventure with your expert guide. Visit the majestic Pyramids of Giza, where you’ll be awestruck by the grandeur of the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus. Capture stunning photos of all three pyramids from the panoramic viewpoint, and explore the mysteries of the Sphinx and the Valley Temple. After a delightful lunch at a local restaurant, continue your journey to the world-renowned Grand Egyptian Museum, where you’ll witness the treasures of Egypt’s ancient civilization. In the evening, you’ll board the sleeper train to Luxor for an overnight journey, complete with dinner onboard.

Day 03: Arrive in Luxor ( Karnak & Luxor Temples)

• After a delicious breakfast on board your train, arrive in Luxor and check into your hotel. Get ready for an immersion into Luxor’s rich cultural heritage, starting with the magnificent Karnak Temple—a sprawling complex that will leave you speechless with its towering columns and sacred halls. Continue to the impressive Luxor Temple before returning to your hotel for a relaxing evening. You have the option to enjoy the mesmerizing Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temple, a magical experience that brings the history of Egypt to life. Overnight in Luxor.

Day 04:  Exploer Valley of the Kings & Hatshepsut Temple

• After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, you’ll visit the famous Valley of the Kings, where you’ll explore the tombs of ancient Pharaohs (three tombs of your choice). Next, marvel at the impressive Temple of Queen Hatshepsut (El-Deir El-Bahary), a true architectural wonder. Conclude your day with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon, two towering statues that stand as silent sentinels to Egypt’s ancient past. Afterward, your guide will escort you to Aswan in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. Upon arrival, check into your hotel for a restful overnight stay.

Day 05: Explore Aswan – High Dam & Philae Temple

• Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before heading out to explore Aswan’s iconic landmarks. Start with a visit to the High Dam. Your day culminates with a visit to the stunning Philae Temple, a masterpiece of Egyptian architecture. Return to your hotel for a leisurely evening, or opt for the Philae Sound and Light Show to see the temple illuminated in an enchanting display. Overnight in Aswan.

Day 06: Abu Simbel 

• Today, experience one of Egypt’s most incredible wonders: the Temples of Abu Simbel. Enjoy a pre-dawn breakfast box at your hotel before boarding an air-conditioned van for the drive to Abu Simbel, where you’ll discover the awe-inspiring Ramses II Temple and the Temple of Nefertari, dedicated to Ramses’ beloved queen. After soaking in the beauty and history of these temples, you’ll be driven back to Aswan to catch the overnight sleeper train back to Cairo, with dinner served on board.

Day 07: Cairo at Leisure 

• After breakfast on the train, you’ll arrive back in Cairo and check into your hotel. Take the day to relax or opt for an exciting excursion. You can choose to visit Alexandria with its Kom El-Shokafa Catacombs, the Alexandria Library, and Montazah Palace, or explore Memphis City and the Step Pyramid of Sakkara. The choice is yours! Spend your evening at leisure before returning to your hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 08: Farewell to Egypt Land Tour 

• On your final day, enjoy breakfast at your hotel and savor your last moments in Egypt. A Flying Carpet Tours representative will transfer you to Cairo International Airport for your departure. We hope you leave with unforgettable memories of your incredible journey through Egypt!
